Elegance Wedding Chapel provides a romantic and intimate setting for
your special event. The gothic style arched windows, elegant chandeliers
and a glowing fireplace gives it the classic charm of yesteryear. Just
blocks away you can capture your wedding day memories with world class
settings such as the rose gardens in Point Defiance Park or overlooking
the breathtaking Commencement Bay.
The chapel has an attached bridal room for you and your bridal party’s privacy. The room has a beautiful vanity, long mirror and private bathroom along with a seating area for your bridal party. We offer several wedding packages to fit any budget! The chapel is pre-decorated for your convenience, however, you are welcome to add to or make changes to create the wedding of your dreams! Gig Harbor Kensington Gardens offers the beauty of age-old tradition with the convenience of modern-day technology. Completed in 2007, the English Manor-style building is surrounded by landscaped lawns and private woods. Inside the Manor you will find fresh flowers, Georgian-style custom cabinetry and woodwork, a surround-sound system and advanced audio-visual technology amid rich architectural accents. Kensington Gardens is celebrated for the details and smooth, well-orchestrated events. A versatile floor plan accommodates up to 140 people in the ballroom. Each group has the sole use of the buildings and grounds, which allows ample time for set-up and decorating. The accommodating Kensington Gardens hosts are on-site during each event. |

| Thornewood Castle -
Lakewood Nestled on four acres at American Lake and dotted with old growth fir trees is Thornewood Castle. Built in 1908 by Chester A. Thorne, this 27,000 square foot manor is of the Gothic Tudor style and is the only one of its kind on the west coast. Built as a single family residence, Thornewood is now a gracious country inn that has been lovingly restored. Walk through the halls where Presidents and dignitaries walked. Presidents William Howard Taft and Theodore Roosevelt spent the night in our presidential suite. Roam the grounds and lovely 1/2 acre sunken English perennial garden, swim, fish, or boat on the beautiful American Lake. Enjoy watching remarkable sunsets from the hand tiled lakeside patio. Medieval stained glass window insets adorn the manor as well as antique furniture and paintings. Whatever your choices, we will pamper you and make your stay with us a special memory. |

Seymour Botanical Conservatory is one of only three Victorian-style conservatories on the West Coast. The building was dedicated in 1908 and is listed on the city, state and national historic registers.
